What would be your new responsibilities?
- Communication with the accounting departments of subsidiaries and preparation of data for the purpose of consolidated financial statements.
- Maintaining the fixed assets register and recording transactions related to fixed assets.
- Recording business events related to financial investments and financing of group companies.
- Analyzing the operations of the company and subsidiaries.
- Analyzing data and assisting in the preparation of periodic business reports.
- Performing other analyses based on business needs.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements at the company and group level.
- Performing other tasks within your area of work as instructed by your superior.
Skills and competencies you bring to the team:
- Responsibility, precision, self-initiative, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- At least a bachelor’s degree (VI.) in economics with at least two years of experience in accounting, financial or accounting reporting, or at least a high school diploma (V.) in economics with more than 10 years of experience in accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and keeping up with developments in the financial and accounting field.
- Excellent communication skills in Slovenian and English (both written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Experience in an international environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
