By localizing production, we are close to where it is needed, we develop the regions and their people, and we mitigate risks to mission-critical infrastructure.
For over 75 years, we have been proudly producing electricity meters, starting from our headquarters in Slovenia. We have transitioned from mechanical to electronic meters and have now added water meters to our growing portfolio. With a capacity of 12 million meters per year and a production and storage area of approximately 75,000 square meters, we have increased our production footprint and extended our manufacturing presence from Slovenia to Egypt, India, Malaysia and Argentina.
We are also proud to work with strategic partners who complement our own Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) supply of up to 15 million components per day, supporting both security of supply and volatility of demand.
Iskraemeco has incrementally improved its operations through automation, digitalization, supply chain alignment, demand consolidation and lean manufacturing.
Our production presence is growing, and we have now started to work on further factory start-ups in Tanzania, Nigeria, Zambia and Russia with an intention to supply local markets under our ‘Local Content Supply Strategy’.
