Iskraemeco is proud to announce that we have signed a 5-year contract with Kranj Water Utility for the supply of 22.000 smart water meters for remote reading with communication modules wM-Bus, LoRaWAN and NB-IoT.
Kranj Water Utility made a big step further with a new remarkable milestone using a new water metering system – one of the most advanced Smart Water Solution in the region.
The project will contribute to the improvement of existing water infrastructure and supply system, reduce cost & improve metering accuracy.
Iskraemeco Smart Water Solution accelerates the implementation of efficient water management, enhances customer experience and improves operational processes.
To enable remote readings the following water metering and communication technologies will be used:
- Smart water meters types: Volumetric, Woltmann, and Ultrasonic
- Fixed communication: NB-IoT and LoRaWAN
- Drive-by/Walk-by communication: wM-BUS 868MHz OMS
Apart from smart water meters with communication, Iskraemeco has offered a modern end-to-end SaaS software solution for Fixed and for Drive-by/Walk-by, with advanced reporting functionalities and user-friendly data displays and analyses.
The project will be a benchmark for Water infrastructure upgrades initiatives in the whole region and be a great example of excellent cooperation between the local business and utilities.
