On Thursday, 3 September the ideas were reviewed based on their overall potential, value, impact, feasibility, and ability to translate into meaningful opportunities for the business. Following this evaluation, three winning ideas were selected:
- Smart Insights – AI & ML
- Meter Hardware Security – R&D
- Firmware Updates (OTA) – R&D
These three ideas represented different areas of innovation, demonstrating how new technologies and creative approaches can address business opportunities and create value across different functions.
The winners received certificates in recognition of their achievements, creativity and commitment throughout the Innovation Program.
The journey highlighted an important message: innovation does not stop at having a great idea. It is about developing that idea, challenging it, understanding its value, and taking the steps needed to turn it into a meaningful opportunity.
