To guide the development and evaluation of their ideas, participants of Innovation Program used five key pillars: how the solution works, the value it delivers, the users it serves, its potential impact, and the associated risks.
After the 16 ideas were developed and evaluated against these five key pillars, the next step was to identify the concepts with the strongest potential.
The ideas went through a filtration and evaluation process, considering their overall potential, value, impact, feasibility, and ability to address relevant opportunities.
The process encouraged participants to move beyond “Is this a good idea?” and ask instead:
“Can this idea work, who needs it, what value can it create, what impact can it have, and what challenges might we face?”
This shift from creativity to structured thinking is an important step in turning ideas into meaningful innovation opportunities.
On Thursday, 20 August, participants presented their ideas and proposed solutions to a Technical Committee comprising Hardware and Software Product Managers and the Innovation Manager.
The presentations provided an opportunity for participants to showcase their concepts, explain the value behind their solutions, show their DEMOs and demonstrate the potential impact they could create.
Looking Ahead
The Innovation Workshop brought 16 ideas a step closer to practical application. By challenging assumptions, exploring feasibility and presenting their solutions to the technical committee, participants showed how creativity and structured thinking can work together to uncover new opportunities for Iskraemeco. Their curiosity, expertise and initiative are what keep innovation moving forward.
