Iskraemeco has won the silver award for eIoT Modular Platform! The eIoT modular platform is an innovative software platform for smart grids with state-of-the-art modular technology and operational design.
The Gorenjska Regional Chamber of Commerce, along with the Supporters of Innovation and in partnership with the Department of Commerce and the public agency Spirit Slovenia, recognized the region’s best innovations. 10 companies with a total of 11 registered innovation projects participated in the call for entries for the Gorenjska Best Innovation Awards for 2021. Over 70 nominated innovators and several groups participated in the awarded innovation projects.
Silver Iskraemecos’ Modular Platform eloT
Based on the modular architecture, Iskraemeco’s modular platform for embedded electricity meter software to support Energy IoT is ready to support advanced eIoT solutions in the smart digital network and building smart cities with sustainability in mind.
The new series meters we are launching are based on the modular eIoT platform, under which the energy meter operating system – eMOS – was developed. It combines operating system technology and meter software development and enables more efficient new functionalities related to the challenges of modern power distribution (grid control, more efficient fault management, better energy efficiency, higher data security, prediction of energy consumption trends, lower operating costs, possibility of organic and technological growth of power distribution – gradual replacement and upgrade of power supplies). The platform enables efficient connectivity across a wide range of technologies with all network elements (meters, sensors,…).
