The Diversity Charter is part of a wider European initiative that encourages companies to actively promote diversity and inclusion. By signing the Charter, companies commit to creating a workplace where differences are valued and encouraged (equal opportunities for all, regardless of gender, age, nationality, religion or other personal characteristics).
Our decision to sign the Slovenian Diversity Charter is based on our belief that diversity brings many benefits. The different perspectives, experiences and backgrounds of our employees enrich our business and enable us to better understand our customers’ needs and respond more effectively to market challenges. We are taking this step to increase transparency, strengthen social responsibility and foster innovation.
Even before signing the charter, we had already implemented numerous initiatives, such as obtaining the “Family Friendly Enterprise” certificate, increasing our investment in employee training (for which we also received the “Top Investor in Training 2024” certificate) and introducing projects to increase employee engagement (focus groups, improved internal communication, recognition of the best production employees and awards from the American Chamber of Commerce). Going forward, we will continue to raise awareness of diversity and inclusion through workshops, career development, mentoring and recognition of behaviors that support diversity principles. We encourage all our employees to actively participate in implementing the principles of the Charter. Together, we will create a company where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential.
We are aware that changing mindsets is a process that takes time and effort. Nevertheless, we are confident that by working together we will successfully achieve our goals. We expect to strengthen employee confidence, increase the company’s attractiveness to talent and create a better working culture based on collaboration, respect and innovation.
By signing the charter, we want to send a clear signal of our commitment to social responsibility, integration and sustainable development.
