During the visit, Ambassador Narang met with members of Iskraemeco’s leadership team, Thomas Petuaud-Letang, CEO, and Maks Prokop, Executive Director, Legal & Compliance; Government Affairs. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on the evolving global energy landscape and the role of advanced smart metering and digital solutions in supporting the energy transition and sustainable infrastructure.
The discussion also highlighted the growing importance of international cooperation, opportunities for collaboration with Indian partners, and the strategic relevance of the Indian market in the digitalization of utilities and the development of smart grids.
Following the meeting, Ambassador Narang toured Iskraemeco’s production facilities, where he was introduced to the company’s manufacturing processes, technological innovations, and commitment to quality and sustainability in smart metering solutions.
The visit reaffirmed the importance of strengthening connections between industry leaders and international partners as energy systems worldwide continue to evolve toward smarter and more sustainable solutions.
