Iskraemeco could not deliver many state-of-the-art projects if it did not have such dedicated employees with an out-of-the-box mindset always looking for the best solution for customer needs.
We are proud that Iskraemeco’s team spirit and engagement were once again rewarded as the company combines its know-how and experience with Veitur, one of Iceland’s main utility, in a cutting-edge project for a smart and digital future in Iceland.
Preparing a winning bid is never the work of an individual, but the success of the entire team, said Igor Kajzer, a project manager for the Veitur project. The efforts of the 10 members who worked on the project full time were enhanced by the contributions of many IE experts to whom the project team turned for information and support.
Igor Kajzer, Project Manager of Iskraemeco, said: “Such complex projects cannot be delivered successfully if you are involved as an individual, but only with an extremely connected team who put their differences aside and work to find the best solution for the customer. I am beyond proud to lead such a team.« Mateja Resman Novak added that by being part of the bidding team for Veitur project she experienced the “new reality” to the fullest extent – all meetings were executed remotely. “When we were compiling information for the winning offer for services, we revised our internal processes in depth. By doing that already at the bidding stage, we identified certain/several improvements to increase efficiency and competitiveness. It was a pleasure to work with the very professional Iceland team and I am convinced that we have all learned a lot from them. As a member of the best IE team, I am looking forward to delivering the proposed solution to the customer.
All team members agreed that the cooperation was amazing, which resulted in the contract award. Gregor Velepec is looking forward to working even closer with his colleagues to deliver the best cutting-edge project. “Partaking in the Veitur bid project was certainly a mind-broadening experience. I am thankful to the whole team for engaging cooperation that brought us to a successful end. Or should I say Start?” concludes Anže Mikulič.
