The Green Penguin project is a smart city solution that educates and engages citizens and supports cities in their efforts to become carbon neutral. The Green Penguin platform connects data on energy and resource consumption with data on user behavior, and through an engaging user experience, it raises awareness among children and adults and provides knowledge to reduce energy and resource consumption.

At the press conference (that lasts from 13:00 to 13:45), we will present the key achievements of the Green Penguin project partners, the future development of the platform, and approaches to ensuring the sustainability of the project and its long-term role. The closing event, which will follow the press conference from 13:45 to 15:00, will also present the key results of the project and the environmental achievements of the pilot schools. The event will conclude with the announcement of the most successful school in achieving the largest reduction in carbon footprint, calculated using the Green Penguin application.
