Lead Hardware Development Engineer (m/f)

Location: Kranj, Slovenia

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the design of complex products and hardware architectures.
Managing technology development and defining hardware-related technological strategies.
Coordinating and aligning solutions between hardware and software in line with technical requirements.
Designing, developing, and verifying electronic circuits and systems.
Performing testing, validation, analysis, and preparation of test procedures for hardware.
Identifying deficiencies and proposing improvements (cost optimization, component standardization).
Leading and contributing to solving complex technical issues (Q cases, change requests).
Developing prototypes and preparing technical documentation.
Mentoring and transferring knowledge to team members while coordinating development activities.
Ensuring compliance with standards, quality requirements, and protection of intellectual property.

The competencies we are looking for:

University degree (Level VII) in a technical or natural sciences field.
At least 5 years of experience in hardware development or related fields.
Advanced knowledge of electronic circuit and system design.
Experience with HW design tools such as Altium Designer and LTspice.
Strong understanding of product development processes (from concept to validation and implementation).
Experience in development testing, verification, and analysis.
Analytical thinking, creativity, systematic approach, and strategic mindset.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in an international environment.
Proficiency in English.
