Independent Purchasing Specialist (m/f)
What would be your responsibilities?
- Independently manage operational procurement processes.
- Communicate with domestic and international suppliers and manufacturers, and coordinate deliveries.
- Handle supplier claims and provide guidance to other departments.
- Independently negotiate prices with suppliers, obtain quotations, and validate offers.
- Monitor and control procurement costs.
- Verify and validate incoming invoices and issued purchase orders.
- Source alternative components on the open market.
- Participate in supplier sourcing, selection, assessment, and evaluation activities.
- Support supplier development and supply chain optimization initiatives.
- Independently lead supplier meetings.
- Monitor supplier performance and KPIs.
- Provide management with recommendations for process improvements and cost optimization.
What competencies and experience are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree (Level VI) in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar procurement role.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of procurement and logistics processes, business practices, and relevant legislation.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with the market for electronic, plastic, mechanical, and electromechanical components is considered an advantage.
