In March, Iskraemeco s.r.l. carried out one of the most important meter deliveries in the LATAM region in recent years. With the commitment of all departments in our value chain, we managed to achieve the major milestone of supplying MT174 meters to ANDE (Administration Nacional de Electricidad) in Paraguay in a single shipment.
Through the efforts and cooperation of the purchasing, production and logistics teams from Slovenia and Egypt, through their dedication and unconditional commitment, the promised delivery dates were met.
Our customers wanted to visit our production facility in Kranj to perform the traditional reception of the equipment, but due to the global situation, their visit was prevented. However, this did not stop us from supporting them in the implementation. Our quality and production departments, with the invaluable support of IT, managed to set up a virtual laboratory for remote reception (FAT) of each of the measuring devices and record and even film the reception process for at least 10 working days. An impressive achievement.
But the challenges did not end there. The blockade of Suez Channel also affected our shipment and almost jeopardized the shipment of the cargo from our factory to Paraguay. But our logistics team, with their quick response to the current situation, managed to do the almost impossible and get the last necessary containers and holds in one of the last available ships, and avoided delivery delays.
But in the end, everything worked out well, and the project is not only the largest shipment to the LATAM region, but also a great reminder of what can be achieved with teamwork.
