This result places us among the top 1% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide in the past 12 months. Reaching Platinum is rare and demanding, and it reflects long‑term, consistent work across the company.
What EcoVadis is and why it matters
EcoVadis is a globally used sustainability rating system that evaluates how companies manage environmental, social, and ethical topics. It is widely used by customers and partners to assess suppliers in a structured and comparable way.
For us, EcoVadis is an important way to have our efforts toward people and the environment externally reviewed, graded, and compared. It allows us to clearly show how well we are performing and where we are improving.
A strong improvement from last year
Our overall score increased from 79 to 87 out of 100, which is a major step forward from last year’s Gold level and brings us to Platinum, the highest possible medal.
The biggest progress was made in Ethics, where we improved by 18 points. We also achieved clear improvements in Labour & Human Rights and Sustainable Procurement. Our Environment score remained stable, maintaining a strong level at 93 points.
How we achieved this result
This achievement did not happen overnight. We worked on EcoVadis improvement projects throughout the entire year and actively managed the submission process to ensure our work was properly documented and supported with evidence.
Key initiatives in 2025 that contributed to the result include:
ESG education for employees and suppliers, ISO 22301 and ISO 28000 certification, compliance risk assessment and authority matrix implementation, ISO 37001 gap analysis, environmental product declarations, family‑friendly enterprise activities, pay gap calculation, succession planning, employee volunteering, calculation of avoided emissions from our products, verification of Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO₂ emissions, a strong information security management system and awareness, ESG audits of suppliers and many others.
Looking ahead
Reaching Platinum is an important milestone, but we will keep raising the bar.
Sustainability is an ongoing process, and we will continue to improve and close remaining gaps, but for now, this recognition confirms that our sustainability management system ranks at the very top globally.
