Iskraemeco Egypt, a subsidiary of Elsewedy Electric, has moved closer to becoming a staple in the Egyptian market by securing another deal with South Cairo Distribution Company (SCDC) in support of the country`s ambitions in modernizing its electricity grid. SCDC is one of Egypt’s largest utilities and plans to integrate Iskraemeco’s smart pre-payment meters into its network in the upcoming decades.
For years, the Egyptian market has been raising the bar and settings standards for the advancement and modernization of its electricity distribution network. Iskraemeco has offered an extraordinary Smart Prepayment solution fully suited to SCDC’s requirements. That being said, we are honoured to earn the GIS certificate for all the security and e-payment certificates in the Egyptian market and being granted an international certificate for our prepayment meters. After the meters were approved and accepted, we managed to deliver the first batch of top-notch smart prepayment meters to the customer in just three months. This quick delivery has created considerable added value for the customer in terms of amazing quality, fast delivery times, massive support from our team, high-level security, and much more.
