The forum is an annual event that brings together users of continuous improvement and innovation methods (LEAN, 6Sigma, ergonomics, sustainability, etc.) to exchange best practices, network and share knowledge about achieving operational excellence.
This year’s forum was attended by several Slovenian companies, who presented their experiences and achievements on the path to business improvement. Iskraemeco, as one of these companies, presented how we “improve the quality of meters in final assembly.”
Our presentation was led by our experts Eva Šturm, Manufacturing Excellence Specialist, and Ivan Rupnik, Lead Development Engineer. They emphasized the importance of teamwork and close cooperation between different departments in the production processes, as this is the key to achieving top results. They presented the improvements we have achieved using the 6Sigma methodology in completed projects:
- Quality improvement of our PCBs and end products
- Optimization of the service process
- Regular quality improvement workshops
- Additional training for service personnel
- The results are fewer errors, more satisfied customers and greater operational efficiency
Iskraemeco chose to implement 6Sigma because it is systematic and data driven. This methodology enables us to:
- Accurately analyze the root causes of defects
- Identify the key steps in the process that need to be improved
- Reduce variability
- Achieve a minimum defect rate
- Increase customer satisfaction
At the event, we learned about the experiences of other Slovenian companies on their path to operational excellence. This gave us new ideas and confirmed that Iskraemeco is on the right track to achieving top business results. We are convinced that 6Sigma will continue to help us achieve top results and strengthen our competitive advantage in the market. Continuous improvement of business processes and ensuring the highest quality of products and services for our customers is a core value of our company.
