Digital grid is energy distribution networks that enable monitoring, communication, analysing and control within supply chains to streamline resource consumption and expenditure and maximize reliability, transparency, and oversight.
The Iskraemeco Digital Grid solution combines an array of coordinated Smart electricity meters, software Head End System for smart metering and Meter Data Management service for analytics.
Collecting and combining data of all smart meters from a large number of consumers, installed at all points of the network, from generation to consumption, gives transmission and distribution companies deep insight into the network operating mode. It allows them to quickly adapt to network changes, detect network inefficiencies, find unbilled consumption and identify potentially dangerous grid sections to avoid emergencies at the peak load time.
