At the invitation of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Igor Bernik, our colleague Anže Zaletel, Information Security Manager at Iskraemeco, presented a lecture on the topic of “Information security in the corporate environment”.
During the presentation, Anže spoke about his professional career as an Information security manager. He also discussed the global role and mission of Iskraemeco and Elsewedy Electric, the different areas of information security, the real threats and risks faced by business environments, the topic of security standards and laws, and the skills, knowledge and training required to work in the field of information security.
One of personal goals for Anže is to spread enthusiasm for information security, educate young people about the field and inspire them to pursue a career in information security so that they can develop a greater awareness of security threats and how to protect against them.
