The conference, organized as part of the implementation of financial mechanisms in Slovenia, brought together nine European countries showcasing various projects supported by the EEA and Norwegian Financial Mechanisms. The primary goals of these mechanisms are to foster socially and economically fair Europe, and to strengthen ties between Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and 15 recipient European countries.
Iskraemeco’s Green Penguin project successfully combines education and environmental problem-solving. Alongside Iskraemeco, Slovenian projects such as Info geothermal, SI-Geo-Electricity, and Soporem were also beneficiaries of these funds.
Seeing these projects in support of renewable energy (solar, hydro, and geothermal), water conservation, biodiversity, contaminated site cleanup, and environmental awareness is encouraging. Our hope for a greener future is fueled by initiatives and organizations like these.
