The industrial visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application for the students, whose graduation project focused on smart metering solutions and energy measurement. Furthermore, the project explores the time-of-use pricing feature of smart meters, allowing users to pay different rates based on electricity usage time. This incentivizes shifting consumption to off-peak hours, reducing grid load and contributing to cost savings. Iskraemeco’s team facilitated the tour, answering questions about the manufacturing process and production lines.
