We would like to express our gratitude to 3ZEN for facilitating the connections between the participating companies and guiding us in the implementation of the 6-Sigma methodology. 3ZEN’s mission is to support companies through training and consulting in the introduction and application of methods for systematic improvement and innovation. Under their guidance, we successfully introduced the 6-Sigma method at Iskraemeco and trained six employees to become Green-Belts. Their expertise and experience have been invaluable in helping us achieve our goals.
The main topics of the workshop:
- DMAIC approach: we looked at the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach to process optimization. We found that this approach is extremely effective for improving development processes, especially in product approval.
- Collaboration and exchange of best practices: Participants shared their experiences and best practices, resulting in numerous innovative ideas and initiatives for future improvements. We focused specifically on material and supplier approval processes and identified common challenges and opportunities for optimization.
- Commitment to ongoing collaboration: All participants committed to continue working together in specialized teams to further optimize approval processes.
Working together and sharing best practices enables us to improve our processes and increase our competitiveness in an increasingly global market. Through thorough reviews, we ensure that our processes are high quality and reliable while avoiding potential errors.
The 6-Sigma workshop provided an excellent opportunity for learning, collaboration and networking. We are confident that the knowledge gained, and contacts made will help to improve the performance of all participating companies.
