For Iskraemeco, the last days were very important.
A team from NCEDC, TEPSCO, EEHC and ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC T&D, spent a week at our premises in Kranj to conduct an audit in the first phase of the project implementation. Our guests performed FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) for the smart meters that Iskraemeco will deploy in the project secured by ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC.
Within this project, IE.5 and IE.7, a new generation of smart meters, will be installed with features developed exclusively for North Cairo Electricity Distribution Company (NCEDC), including communication modems and Symbiot, our advanced data management system.
We are pleased to announce that the FAT of IE.5 single-phase meters has been successfully completed and the usage of Iskraemeco’s new generation meters has been approved in one of the largest smart metering projects in Egypt.
We are very proud of our teams from Egypt and Kranj. Their joint efforts have resulted in a superior solution for an entirely new segment in the Egyptian market.
