Mechanical Design Engineer for Smart Water Solutions Portfolio (m/f)

Location: Kranj, Slovenia

Your new responsibilities will include:

Analyzing and preparing concept studies and materials for mechanical assemblies of water meters.
Designing the entire mechanical system of the water meter.
Preparing the “Design for Manufacturing and Assembly” concept.
Defining production processes for water meters.
Developing models and failure analyses for mechanical assemblies of water meters.
Collaborating with other related departments (Mechanical Parts Design, Manufacturing Technology, Electronic Equipment Development, Product Validation, etc.).
Business development and market intelligence in the above-mentioned product groups.
Training customers and employees on the above-mentioned product groups.
Providing support for technical and commercial explanations and project proposal preparation.

We are looking for the following competencies:

Completed university education of Level VII in Natural Sciences.
Preference will be given to candidates with at least 3 years’ experience in a comparable position.
Good knowledge of Siemens (Unigraphics) NX mechanical assembly design tool or similar.
Results oriented, self-initiative, systematic, reliable.
Excellent communication skills, teamwork ability and strong organisational skills.
Knowledge of ERP/CRM.
Experience with MS Office, Acrobat and similar programs and applications.
Active English language skills (written and spoken).
