Measurement Systems Design Engineer for Smart Water Solutions Portfolio (m/f)

Location: Kranj, Slovenia
Your new responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing and preparing concept studies for measurement and calibration systems for ultrasonic water meters.
- Developing the architecture of embedded firmware and implementing (coding) embedded firmware for the measurement system of ultrasonic water meters.
- Releasing and managing embedded firmware in a version control system (e.g., GIT).
- Modeling and analyzing the yield of the water meter production process.
- Collaborating with other related departments (Mechanical Parts Design, Manufacturing Technology, Electronic Equipment Development, Product Validation, etc.).
- Business development and market intelligence in the above-mentioned product groups.
- Training customers and employees on the above-mentioned product groups.
- Providing support for technical and commercial explanations and project proposal preparation.
The competences and experience we are looking for:
- Completion of University education (level VII.) in Natural Sciences.
- Preference will be given to candidates with at least 3 years’ experience in a comparable position, preferably in the field of process measurment technology.
- Very good knowledge of C and C++ programming languages.
- Results-oriented, self-initiative, systematic, reliable.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork ability and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge in ERP/CRM.
- Experience with MS Office, Acrobat and similar programs and applications.
- Active English language skills (written and spoken).
