What will be your responsibilities?
- Optimization and planning of logistics tools as well as storage and handling techniques (AGV, forklifts, supply carts, racks, …).
- Responsibility for optimizing and implementing changes to packaging regulations for incoming materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
- Planning requirements, creating purchase requests for packaging, and providing information for procurement during the project implementation phase.
- Planning and optimizing warehouse locations, transport zones, and intermediate storage (adjusting to changes: adapting to quantities and additional new projects).
- Development and implementation of new warehouse and logistics technologies, methodologies, and information systems.
- Planning, standardizing, and optimizing material flows in internal logistics.
- Project management in the planning of new products and production lines in cooperation with the Technology Department.
- Managing and controlling deviations in warehouse and logistics processes and information systems.
- Connecting and coordinating internally with colleagues and with external partners.
- Transferring best practices to other international locations.
Competences, that we are looking for:
- At least a VI/2. level education in social or natural sciences.
- At least 5 years of work experience in planning and optimizing logistics processes.
- Active knowledge of the English language (spoken and written).
- Reliability, consistency, accuracy, proactivity, and knowledge in project management.
