Head of Software Development Team (m/f)

Location: Kranj, Slovenia

You will have the opportunity to:

Lead, plan, organise, coordinate and improve the work of the department.
Participate in the design of system solutions and the implementation of functional prototypes.
Participate in the upgrade and maintenance of solution architecture and development technologies.
Collaborate with the leaders of other areas in unifying the solutions and approaches.
Introduce new assemblies or procedures into the department’s development activities.
Stay current with the new developments in the market and on the side of competitors and propose the introduction of new developments into own production.
Ensure professional, high-quality, efficient and time-compliant work of the department.
In special cases: manages tasks to address Q-cases and change requests.

The competencies we are looking for:

A completed university degree in natural sciences (level VII).
At least 5 years’ experience at a similar workplace.
Experience in managing a development team.
Knowledge of Microsoft development environment (Visual Studio).
Knowledge of C# programming language and experience in developing solutions with Windows .NET framework.
Active English language skills (written and spoken).
Proactivity, ability to manage change and excellent communication skills.
