Sonda optical probe

Sonda optical probes are an essential part of Iskraemeco’s smart metering solution. They enable accurate readouts and take care of local communication with the meter. As reliable field-proven products, they are utilized in many metering projects worldwide. A Sonda optical probe uses an optical interface to communicate with meters (e.g. electric meter, gas meter, water meter, etc.) and connects via USB interface to handheld units, laptops, and desktop computers.

Powered by USB (doesn’t require batteries or external power supply)
No power reading – Sonda 6 enables reading of MT880 meters also, when the meter is not powered
High data rates up to 115,200 bps
