The IskraSonic® 1000 is a high-precision ultrasonic smart water meter designed for advanced metering and network insight. Built on a robust ultrasonic platform, it combines accurate flow measurement with integrated sensing, data logging, and LPWAN connectivity to support modern water management. Available in two variants, it enables utilities to choose between a measurement-focused solution or an extended version with integrated valve control for advanced customer and demand management.

High-precision ultrasonic measurement: Delivers accurate measurement for advanced metering applications, eliminating measuring deviations caused by sand, suspended particles or air pockets.
Integrated sensing capabilities: Measures forward and reverse volume, flow rate, water temperature, ambient temperature, pressure (optional), and battery voltage.
Smart meter PLUS functionality: Designed as a smart meter PLUS, thanks to its integrated temperature sensor, pressure sensor, and GPS functionality.
Bi-directional LPWAN communication: Bi-directional and dual-mode LPWAN technology, NB-IoT with wM-Bus, LoRaWAN with wM-Bus for diverse applications.

Ultra-low power design: Ultra-low power design ensuring long battery lifetime (up to 15 years).
Robust and flexible installation: Installation in all orientations with IP68 protection, suitable for outdoor installation.
Advanced data logging: Last 120 months monthly consumption data, last 90 days daily consumption data, last 30 days hourly consumption data, and all meter events.
Event and alarm monitoring: Monitoring of battery capacity, flow overload, burst, tamper, magnetic field interference, leakage, reverse flow, dry pipe, and configurable thresholds for temperature and pressure.
Hydraulic analysis and pressure profiling: High-resolution pressure sensing enables continuous pressure profiling, detection of fast transients, and localized hydraulic analysis to understand true network behavior.
Integrated valve (IWU110 variant): Integrated valve for remote control or prepayment function.
Prepayment and remote control features (IWU110 variant): Supports remote valve control (OTA), prepaid operation, step-tariff billing, configurable valve closure rules, and automatic valve maintenance.
