The LTPA project is all about modernizing the network through a long-awaited journey with The department of Energy (DOE) in Abu Dhabi Emirate in the UAE. ADDC - Abu Dhabi Distribution Company and AADC - Al Ain Distribution Company have created a joint committee for the 2-year procurement process to purchase the most advanced smart metering devices, to upgrade their electrical network.

Iskraemeco’s meters will improve energy efficiency across the city and provide the utility with accurate and reliable measurements, detailed analysis of consumption and power quality, and advanced anti-tampering mechanisms.

Croatia continues its grid renovation and modernization efforts relying on Iskraemeco for smart devices, AM550 meters, AC750 concentrators and the advanced software SEP2W head-end system. The successful distribution managed by HEP ODS (Hrvatska Elektroprivreda - Operator distribucijskog sustava d.o.o.) ensures a successful optimization, delivery, and compliance with market needs.

Iskraemeco is delighted to announce the signing of the contract for the smart metering solution; with Tatweer Misr, Egypt’s leading real estate developer. Smart electricity and water meters will be delivered over a four year period.

Elsewedy Electric, in consortium with Toyota Tsusho, has signed a new EPC contract with North Cairo Electricity Distribution Company (NCEDC) for the modernization and digitalization of the electricity distribution network in North Cairo through the installation of 500,000 smart meters, a distribution management system, advanced metering infrastructure and remotecontrol unit, and smart ring interconnection panels with renovation works for Helmya.

The New Republic strategy is Egypt’s most recent national project. This strategy is part of the Egypt 2030 Vision, which promises to improve the country’s economy, innovation, healthcare, education, and society as a whole by raising public awareness and achieving sustainable objectives.

Elsewedy Electric supports Egypt on its way to an ambitious digitalization goal. The signing of an EPC contract with North Cairo Electricity Distribution Company (NCEDC) is an essential part of Egypt’s digitization efforts. Iskraemeco is part of the project, providing smart meters, a data concentrator, a data management suite and accompanying services as part of its energy IoT solution, and thereby contributing to a stable and efficient electricity supply.

Iskraemeco has had a strong presence in Germany for a long time. We always had a deep awareness of the business environment and the needs of our German customers. More than 15 million of our meters have already been installed in German households.

Iskraemeco is proud to play an important part in transforming India’s electricity grid with the country’s first end-to-end solution project. Our goal was to support our customer with a complete solution. The project, to be executed in the north eastern Indian state of Nagaland, includes the delivery of smart meters, an RF communication gateway, device installation, integration with Symbiot software suite, and the development of a prepayment application.

Iskraemeco is a system solution provider and is also becoming key technology and knowledge leader. An important part of any end-to-end solution is also Meter Data Management, or MDM. The current software portfolio already includes several modules, but there is a need to further develop certain functionality for important customer projects.

Iskraemeco is continuing its supplies within the framework agreement with the utility EVN Macedonia, which manages a total of 800,000 metering points. Macedonia is striving to transform its grid to enable optimisation of the existing system. The agreement concluded in 2019 covers the supply of more than 200,000 MT174 residential meters.

Madagascar’s household electricity demand has risen considerably in recent years. In response to the increasing needs of residential electricity consumers, utilities have started upgrading and modernizing the country’s electricity grid, and at the same time looking for a solution that will deliver operational savings and data management services. Madagascar was looking for a provider that would be able to supply approximately 30% of its households.

Dutch utilities were among the early adopters of smart meters. Smaller scale rollouts based on DSMR (Dutch Smart Meter Requirements) specifications began in 2012. With four utilities leading the smart meter revolution, 70% of the country’s existing infrastructure will be smart by end of 2020.

Oman is modernizing its electricity distribution network into a smart grid environment by integrating Iskraemeco’s smart metering solutions. The transformation of the smart grid infrastructure will play an important part in the country’s efforts to increase energy efficiency through strategic actions. Once the infrastructure is in place and technologies are deployed, these actions can be expanded to take advantage of the digital transformation era and advanced metering management.

With 2.4 million customers, ENEA, one of Poland’s largest energy groups, is striving to implement smart metering solutions as a realization of its new development strategy. Due to a successful collaboration on the Polish market in the past, Iskraemeco will equip 70,000 metering points, which will strengthen the foundations for our continued cooperation in the future smart metering projects.

As part of the Swiss federal government’s energy strategy, conventional electricity meters must make way for smart meter solutions. Thus, Swiss utilities are gradually implementing smart meters into their infrastructure and Iskraemeco has included active engagement in the Swiss energy sector as part of its strategic plan.

The Federal Electricity and Water company (FEWA) in the United Arab Emirates has signed a contract with Elsewedy Electric UAE, to provide Iskraemeco’s smart metering solution covering almost their entire network, for a period of 5 years

There is a significant demand for energy management in the Middle East and Asia. This is necessitated given the region’s rapid economic and population growth, which has led to a rise in energy demand. Smart meters in particular are becoming increasingly popular in the region as they contribute to better and more efficient utilization of gas, water, and electricity resources.

Aware of the growing demand for smart grid infrastructure, Zimbabwe has been planning to deploy a smarter grid for several years. The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) has a number of potential projects in the pipeline and is working to strengthen and expand the transmission grid with Iskraemeco’s whole solution that includes smart meters for residential environments, i.e. AM550, and C&I + Grid meters MT880, as well as our software suite, Symbiot.

The team has completed an intensive Visit Plan, covering Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia, Peru and utilities from Argentina, which introduces and reinforces our brand. Our products are very well accepted, and we will meet the requirements of these markets in the future.

Iskraemeco established its legal Indian entity in October 2019 to explore what is arguably the largest smart metering country in the world. India is expected to have a cumulative requirement of USD 45+ billion in the coming decade.

Iskraemeco is cooperating with several key stakeholders in the Egyptian energy sector, implementing smart solutions and digitalizating the grid.

Iskraemeco, a subsidiary of Elsewedy Electric, has moved closer to becoming a staple in the Egyptian market by securing another deal with South Cairo Distribution Company (SCDC) in support of the country`s ambitions in modernizing their electricity grid. SCDC is one of Egypt’s largest utilities and plans to integrate Iskraemeco’s smart pre-payment meters into its network in the upcoming decades.
