You will contribute to the success by:
- Making regular reports on current business results and department costs, risks and threats, and planned and adopted measures.
- Leading and participating in the process of sourcing, selection, audit, and evaluation of suppliers and alternative suppliers, manufacturers, components, materials, and services.
- Negotiating with suppliers, searching, and evaluating agreements.
- Researching the global market for providers of services, components, and materials.
- Supervising and assisting in keeping the information database up-to-date by entering the current data relating to the head’s area of responsibility.
- Managing and participating in projects.
- Managing and optimizing deliveries and the purchasing process, is taking an active part in the calculation of product prices and purchasing planning.
- Building and developing the supply chain of the company.
- Managing, planning, and coordinating the work of the organizational unit.
- Providing commercial support to other departments within the company.
- Managing currency risk and is controlling costs.
Your strengths and competencies are:
- At least 5 years of experience in managing a Procurement Sector or Procurement Team.
- Completion of master’s degree (VII) in social or natural sciences.
- Experience in a manufacturing company and in the procurement of electronic components.
- Leadership skills and strategic orientation.
- Ability to manage change and proactive attitude.
- Active knowledge of the English language (spoken and written).
- Ability to work in an international-multicultural environment.
